The new Windsor Police Cadet applications have been printed and are available at the Windsor Police Department, in the School Resource Officer's Office, and at Ms. Brown's office in the Student Services Suite. Any student between the ages of 13 and 21 may apply.
WINDSOR POLICE CADETS:
Starting November 1, 2015, applications will be available for students 13-21 years of age interested in joining the new Windsor Police Cadet Program. Cadets will meet with the advising officers Commander Adams and Assistant Commander Frank every other Tuesday from 3p-5p. During this time they will learn about fingerprinting, radar, motor-vehicle stops, drug laws, search and seizure processes, the criminal and judicial systems, and many other criminal justice related topics. One Tuesday of every month will be dedicated to field trips which will include visits to the prison, court house, police department, firing range, state forensic laboratory and many others.
