Introduction to College Studies (ICS)
As a Vermont high school sophomore, junior or senior, you can take a free 13-week course that helps you get ready for college.
This course will be offered at *Windsor Schools from 2:45-4:45 on Tuesdays starting February 2, 2016, and ending May 10. However, CCV needs at least 7 students to run this course!
- Set goals and problem-solve
- Manage time and stress
- Improve communication skills
- Take better notes and reduce test anxiety
- Plan finances for college
- Explore life’s options
More cool things about ICS are that it’s a risk-free pass/fail class, and many high schools award high school credit to students who successfully complete the course. ICS also gives you study skills that you can use right away in your high school classes.

- Apply. CCV’s admissions process is simple and free, and you can apply online. (You’ll need your social security number to complete the application form.) You’ll be able to request your ICS course on the application.
