Learn to analyze ideas for success, identify the strengths that will ignite your entrepreneurial potential, and practice skills that every business owner needs with budding entrepreneurs (and new friends!) from all over the state.
Any Vermont 9th-12th grader can join us for a fun and intensive Winter Weekend February 5-7, 2016. At Winter Weekend you live with a group of high schoolers on a college campus, make new friends, complete a mentored, in-depth study challenge in the topic you choose, and gain exciting new skills and ideas. It’s the perfect way to try out a Governor’s Institute and jump into something new!

Led by experienced, professional business leaders and educators passionate about entrepreneurship – who believe that developing an “entrepreneurial mindset” is a mindset, that every student, person needs to succeed...that...entrepreneursh ip is more than an academic discipline. It provides a framework for a way of thinking and taking action, learning from outcomes, identifying opportunities, testing assumptions, iterating and refining ideas and then building upon potential opportunities.
Note: Vermont Tech – now offers a Minor in Entrepreneurship in any of its 17 programs and will soon be offering a full Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship!
