This is a reminder to juniors and seniors who are interested in taking a college-level course through dual enrollment next semester. The Agency of Education has initiated a new process for applying for the dual enrollment vouchers, so even if you have already taken a dual enrollment course before, you need to begin by creating an account with their new system. Here is a link to the system:
Click HERE for a copy of the information that Ms. Toth and Ms. Herzog shared during their recent drop-in session regarding Dual Enrollment. It will walk you through the steps of how to proceed. Remember that courses start in mid-January for most colleges, so students will need to begin the process before leaving for December break.
Ms. Toth and Ms. Herzog are available to answer any questions students or their parents/guardians have about the process. Dual enrollment is a wonderful opportunity for students to earn both high school and college credit at a very low cost (the course itself being free - the cost for books/supplies/lab fees still may apply). Please see Mrs. Brown in the Guidance Office if you have questions or would like to make an appointment to see your counselor regarding dual enrollment.
