GOVERNOR'S INSTITUTES OF VERMONT - SUMMER 2017

GIV summer programs offer extreme learning and extreme fun!  Students currently in grades 9 through 11 will pursue their individual academic and creative interests at an accelerated pace and depth beyond what most schools offer. GIV grows students' awareness of their own creative or intellectual talents while growing their resumes.  Students will be surrounded by those with similar interests and will make lasting friendships.  There are eleven institutes offered:

• Arts (June 25 - July 9)
• Young Writers (June 18 - 24)
• Current Issues & Youth Activism (June 29 - July 8)
• Engineering (June 25 - July 1)
• Entrepreneurship (June 24 - 30)
• Information Technology & Digital Media (June 24 - July 2)
• Astronomy (July 23 - 29)
• Mathematical Sciences (June 25 - 30)
• Environmental Science & Technology (June 25 - July 1)
• Asian Cultures (June 25- 28)
• Architecture, Design & Building (July 16 - 22)
