Internship Opportunity @ Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL) for current JUNIORS!

The Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL) is proud to sponsor the Science and Engineering Apprenticeship Program (SEAP) to provide a unique opportunity to area high-school JUNIORS with an aptitude for math and science.

Students work on a one-to-one basis with a CRREL scientist or engineer who acts as a mentor. Students learn techniques for dealing with scientific and engineering problems and may have the opportunity to use highly sophisticated equipment. During the summer the students gain valuable on-the-job experience and information to help them make important career choices. Each student presents a poster at an end-of-summer poster session, summarizing his or her project. If interested, students may work part-time during the school year and may be eligible to remain temporarily employed with CRREL throughout their undergraduate degree program. In the past, approximately 90% of our apprentices have remained in the science or engineering fields.
