This is a free college
and career planning event for high school students and their parents sponsored
by VSAC (Vermont Student Assistance Corporation). There are 3 separate dates and locations:
> Saturday, March 17th @ Saint Michael's College
> Saturday, March 24th @ Northern Vermont University - Johnson Campus
> Saturday, April 7th @ Castleton University
There are workshops on All Things College and ... new this year .. Skilled Trades & Apprenticeships! Parents and students are able to choose from 15 different college & career workshops led by experts from the field to include:
> The admissions process & college search;
> How to pay - applying for financial aid, scholarships and grants;
> Campus life, internships, co-ops & study broad;
> Pathways to skilled trades, apprenticeships & great careers without college;
...and more!
